What is the purpose of Perpetually Confused? Why are we perpetually confused? Am I perpetually confused?
Everybody on the planet is perpetually confused to some extent and that’s why we’re here. And yes, that probably means you’re a little confused too. Why? Well how could we not be? Have you ever watched the news?
You’ve got the cluster we call cable news, which revolves around partisan bickering, spin and complete crap 95% or more of the time. The small percentage of time where real journalism shines through is pretty surprising since it requires honesty. Each channel is usually saying something different based on their bottom line so pulling the truth out of all of it can be tough, and very confusing.
We enjoy preaching about goodness and sanity but we’re obsessed with every celebrity mishap we can find.
Do you believe in a god? Yeah? Which one? An invisible man, a spaghetti monster, a cow or an elephant? A guy with a beard, two heads, a lightning bolt or a bag of incense? Just trying to filter through all of the available religions is a bundle of confusion by itself.
And don’t get me started on politicians. They make money by spreading perpetual confusion.
So since we’re all confused, why not make the most of it? Admit it, then try to find the real world among the crap. It makes life more fun to just accept the fact that the world makes no sense on a daily basis. Thats why we’re here. To make it fun and let you show it off.
